I started decorating cakes 6 years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest.  I wanted to be able to create birthday cakes for my future children.  I had no idea when I began, that making beautiful cakes would become my passion.  I find inspiration everywhere, from pretty stationary to a single flower.  This has truly become my creative outlet.  My family has been so supportive of me over the past few years while my "hobby" keeps growing.  I have taken over the breakfast nook in our kitchen and created a cake decorating corner where I can sit and work.  Be it on a cake, cookies, or just gumpaste flowers.

I love being able to share my enthusiasm with other people interested in cake decorating by teaching classes.  I love seeing someone's face when learning something new, and feel so proud at the end of the course when my students can be proud to say, "Yes, I made that myself!" 

I am not currently selling cakes to the public, but have been in touch with the Health Department to get the ball rolling on getting my home kitchen licensed so I can!  It will be a while, but keep checking back here for updates!
